Pros

- Free Cable/Data/Phone - Great Benefits if you use them. - Overtime is plenty when there is.

Cons

- Pressure to sell. - Subordinates on power-trips. (People from help line) - Hard goals to reach. I couldn't make it past a year. Maybe the other positions are better but stay away from tech support!

Pros

The best reasons to work here is the discounted services. Company values are good. Office Culture is a bit laid back, and has room for promotions. Training is pretty thorough, benefits are okay.

Cons

Working in technical support for Cox, or any service provider for internet, video, and/or phone services can be difficult. Half of the customers can be rude, and its very discouraging. Besides the customers, the recent call center changes have taken the quality of technical support/customer service from okay to frustrating for a lot of customers, as well as employees. Half of the support seems to be outsourced, and more than half the calls I've received each day were typically people that have called in several times within the same day, or for same reason. All because they typically were given wrong answers or weren't properly helped in the first place. The position is moving towards pushing for more sales in tech support.
