Pros

The company is financially solid and really cares about the emoloyees. Leadership doesn't just say they care -they prove it with action. The employees are like family. The facilities are top notch. Base salaries are competitive, but not the highest; however, the bonus plans are very generous. The insurance plans are amazing and the company offers 401k matching AND a well funded pension plan...which is unheard of these days!

Cons

There can be downsides to any company, but I can't think of any that are worth mentioning.

Pros

Really put their money where their mouth is when it comes to employees. From the Employee Relief Fund to keeping benefits and wellness at the front... it's nice to see a company that cares.

Cons

When HR doesn't understand what a position is even if it's defined, it is very difficult to get them to pull compensation to match the industry.

Pros

Cox has the best benefits of any company I have ever worked with, and the cost is extremely low as compared to other companies. Great work/life balance. The family is very supportive of its employees.

Cons

Upper management can be hesitant in taking risks, and is satisfied with the status quo. It can be difficult to move ahead due to entrenched leadership in some areas of the company.
