Pros

Great place to work for when you are a low level employee. Medical/Dental benefits, 401K Employees are regularly surveyed to gage their feelings.

Cons

Organization has seen a new CEO come inhouse and has been replacing executive after executive with people who act without considering the consequences. Communication is tough going up the food chain. Communication from top down is better but a lack of personal responsibility/accountability for mandates is not there. In addition to which, accountability standards are different region to region. Products released to customers without getting buy in from the customers as to servicability. Above mentioned surveys seem to not be read. Overall this organization has a lot of issues and I would not recommend employement with them.

Pros

Great starting pay with great benefits. Job requires servicing local and national restaurant chains and supermarkets with a knife service exchanged every week or every two weeks, depending on the account. Relatively easy work once you learn the route. Work week is Mon-Fri every week come rain or shine.

Cons

Raises or hard to come by and the hours are long. Day starts at 4:30am and could last as late as 6 or 7pm, especially in the beginning. Once you are shown the route, that changes daily over a two week cycle, you are expected to sink or swim. It is during this period of time when drivers are working long hours to complete the route without support or encouragement. Because the starting pay is so good your job is always held over your head to succeed or quit. If you can't handle it they will find someone who can. This job is not for the faint of heart (because of the management culture) or suited for a family man because of the long hours.
