Poor management at the concord mills location. I worked for another location where the managers actually knew how to operate a business. No cameras in the break room so anyone can go into the lockers and steal money from wallets and such. The place is a hierarchy where managers and some servers are on top.

Let me start by saying this company breeds fear! You will go to work every day wondering if this will be your last. I have always thought of myself as a good person, with great integrity, but that will not be enough for this company. When you start your training at their home office, be ready to start your day at 7am until midnight or 1am. Be prepared for their brainwashing, letting you know how worthless you are. You are being watched 24/7, even the hotel they put you up in is owned by Cracker Barrel, hotel staff will be watching. One false move, and you are sent home immediatly. People were marched out of my class daily, and sent home. Trust no one! In your home store, you must treat everyone like a thief, employees must be escorted to the door at the end of their shift, coats & bags frisked. You must constantly mistreat your employees, beating down their spirit to conform to their "Country Fresh" Ways. There are too many horrible ways this company operates to list them all. Anyone looking to work here just search the web and read employees reviews about working conditions here, and yes, just about everything they say is true. When this recession clears a little, I'm running the hell out of here. Trust me, YOU WILL HATE WORKING HERE'!
