      Pros

      I've been at Crane Currency for almost two years. If you are looking for a forward-thinking, fast paced work environment, then this is the place for you. There is a never a lack of high profile projects to work on, contribute to, or be a part of. I've worked at many different companies in my career, and the employees at Crane are very dedicated to the company and very family oriented. There's a good work-life balance.

      Cons

      Historically a locally family run business, and a lot of employees have struggled with the changing environment to become a global company. Location of Dalton, MA is just not desirable for some people who are used to living/working in or near a big city. Sometimes there is a rush to get projects done.

      Not many pros with the company

      Cons

      Horrible place to work. The managers only care about the higher ups and protecting the company. They pile more work on your plate everyday and expect you to jump through hoops for them. If you ask for a raise they will talk to you like your asking them to move a mountain. They like to act like they care about you, but they don't care. The place is a revolving door.

      Technology, clean and safe equipment. Convenient location.

      Cons

      Expensive Health Insurance. Morning supervisor tantrums. HR and upper mgt. don't address concerns in a meaningful way. Burnout and anxiety from excessive OT, supervisor tantrums, and constantly moving around.
