The company is in a downward spiral. What started as a MEI is just a shell of itself. The corporate overloads attempt to force 150 year old ideas on a modern tech company resulting in no productivity. The CISO has no clue how to allow technical people to work. The senior leadership only looks out for each other with total disregard for the people that do the work. Soon the house of cards will fall. The amount of micromanagement is nothing short of amazing. The amount of reviews any documentation is given results in something so dumbed down to a point of being useless. We are all waiting for anything so we can leave this ship.

Paycheck biweekly. Good/Competent lower and mid level employees. Decent office environment.

Cons

The management, HR, and corporate level couldn't care less about individual employees. The handling of the global pandemic has been abysmal, cruel, and disappointing. Lack of communication and unclear messages is a common theme. For all the recitals of the R.T. Crane motto, nothing is actually practiced. There are far better companies out there to work for. Over time, upper management has degraded to an incompetent level. It's generic store-brand management compared to the former. With this management and the decline of cash this company has an upcoming expiration date. Look elsewhere for opportunities.

All the pros disappeared with the sale of this company to Crane. This used to be such a wonderful place to work

Cons

Treated like little children by new management. No trust even though the MEI side of the business was kicking Crane's tail before the merger. It's the Crane way or the highway, and there have been plenty of Directors and VP's escorted out of the building after a "disagreement" with new management. MEI'ers leaving in droves.
