Pros

The only pro is your paycheck, meager as it is...

Cons

The management in this place hasn't changed in decades, they have gotten all cozy and comfortable and nobody is overseeing what is going on in this department. The three incompetent women play favorites and harass those whom they don't like in every possible way. There is a massive campaign going on to harass the employees who have worked here for years until they quit. The management does not allow employees to apply for promotion. Whenever there is an opening, the management first selects who will be promoted and then post the job. Promoted are only friends, family or those who worship the "management". If you report anything to your supervisor, the lower management will drive you out one way or another; they either find a reason to fire you within couple of months or they will employ their passive aggressive tactics and you WILL quit. If you report harassment or mistreatment by the management to HR, they will tell you that maybe this company is not a good match for you and, if you don't quit first, you will be fired in a few of months. If you call anonymous line to report, the management will conduct investigation until they guess who called and you will be fired for one reason or another. The upper management sends emails about promoting current employees, but only the "chosen ones" have a chance of promotion. The emails about promoting from within look nice, but do not reflect what is going on in this department. The upper management conducts surveys every 6 months, but nothing changes. STAY AWAY FROM TELEPLUS, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Pros

Work from home. ok benefits. 401K. nice new building. Good dental. Some good team mates. Nice cafeteria. State of the art reception area.

Cons

They basically replaced one narcissistic CIO w/ another one. Employees are still terrified that they are next on the chopping block. Mgmt is still icy and overlook great employees. Instead they hire contractors to introduce new software then have the more smart reliable employees support the application. No current long term employees are doing real development just support. I advise remaining employees to stay up on your skills new technology and certs instead of being comfortable due to number of years there. Unless you are mgmt favorite you won't get any good raises or perks of working from home daily or working remotely on "vacation" even though you work harder and don't have martial issues. Never seen anything like it.

Pros

There are some nice people here.

Cons

Where to start? Constant layoffs. No clear direction from management. Management changes mind on a whim. Hire more C-level execs and let folks who work in the trenches go. Awful, awful culture. Backstabbing. And the minute this review goes live, they will strong-arm a current employee to add a glowing review. It is the game they play? Just watch it happen.
