Pros
I’m a recent graduate, and this is my fifth week since joining Credit Genie, and honestly, I feel incredibly lucky. I have zero regrets about making the decision to join the Data & Analytics team this February. As a startup, the culture here is flat, fast-moving, and highly collaborative, everyone is super approachable. What surprised me most is how open our CEO and team director are. They regularly take the time to share the company’s direction, current milestones, and even details like revenue composition and business models. Being looped in on those strategic plans helps me reflect on the work I’m doing and think about how I can position myself in the company’s future. That’s incredibly valuable for a new grad like me. It’s not just about checking off tasks, but thinking big, learning from brilliant teammates, and understanding the direct impact of my work.
Every month, we have Collaboration Week, where everyone comes together at the Plymouth Meeting office. It’s such a great opportunity to get to know your colleagues, sometimes a quick chat in the pantry turns into a knowledge-packed conversation or even the start of a cool project. Now, let’s talk about the work. Yes, it’s a startup, steep learning curves, challenging tasks, ad-hoc requests… but for me, it’s all worth it. Seniors on the team are always willing to offer thoughtful feedback, and your work is respected. The company also offers excellent benefits, including 401k matches, comprehensive insurance with minimal out-of-pocket costs, meal credits, and fitness support, snacks, etc.
The talent density here is high, if you're goal-oriented, self-driven, and love working with smart, collaborative people, just come join us!
Cons
The work often involves challenging tasks and unexpected ad hoc requests. It requires adaptability and strong time management, but the experience is incredibly rewarding if you're up for the challenge.
