      Crenlo - Great place to work

      Pros

      Crenlo was a great place to work. The engineering staff worked to help others during down times. Project managers were inviting and non-threatening.

      Cons

      1. The new owners (IES) bagan to put pressure on Crenlo to perform in a down economy which in turn forced layoffs in staff levels. 2. A"good old boys" culture keeps the long term workers together and become untouchable when layoffs come around. Those not in the group usuallyget the boot like me.

      Pros

      Good core of people. Have compassion for each other's well being. Company builds a great well built product.

      Cons

      CEO and Enclosure General Manager are out of touch with employees, company needs and business trends. Both are just waiting to retire. Have little compassion for their team. Make it very frustrating to work there. Engineering leaders are very weak and in over their heads.
