Pros

Amazing, state of the art technology. They're are not many pros of working at Crestron. The growth opportunities are very poor, and the salaries offered on all levels is below the market offerings. Executive Management is not on the same page with the leadership and future growth of the organization other than the current VP of manufacturing and the Sr. Director of Human Resources. Both individuals are extremely business savvy, have been involved with Cresteon during much of their growth stage, and I feel both drive and maintain the direction Crestron should be moving in. Management needs to listen to the workers that are hands on with the products, "front of the house", as they will gain much insight that I believe will help drive continuous growth overall.

Cons

Crestron needs to retain talent, reward employees that dedicate time and give value to their company, and the CEO needs to be more involved and learn other functions of the business. Recent increase in 401K match was great, however benefit contributions are poor.

Pros

Great design and products. Profitable portfolio. Engineering opportunities to expand product line. Procurement and Logistics drives costs down to help profits soar.

Cons

Management is inconsistent. No strategy or plan, satisfied to put out fires and gleam the effectiveness of the profitability with little to no effort by management. Constant change with no plan to improve, especially manufacturing. No investment in people, constant negative pitting one another against each other. No succession planning. Dishonest, disloyal, negative fear tactics used to manage.

Pros

Company carries no debt, never has never will. Was founded in founders garage and now has global offices with main campus in northern New Jersey...... pays more that unemployment, but not by much. PTO time is quick to get when you first start.

Cons

The bullying starts at the upper echelons of the company. Senior management has no clue has to how there product gets from Cresskill/ and Mexican supplier to Rockleigh and then shipped out to customers( hence my next statement). Loyalty from senior staff is none existant and trickles down to the hourly staff who lack loyalty to a company that starts GMP meetings by reminding them that they can be fired at will with no cause or reason ever stated. Then your asked to sign paperwork agreeing to there nonsense. If you have worked there for a long time PTO time gets harder to obtain. I had to use PTO time when my Mother passed on.
