Pros

Great technology, incredible potential as a technology company.

Cons

Toxic environment, many in management have their own agendas as a result there is no cohesion and teamwork is nonexistent between departments.

Pros

Many good people, nice offices, good snack machines, you can learn new technologies.

Cons

Same management for team for 20 plus years in most departments. If you are in their clique,or one of their favorites, all good. Not in the clique, all bad. They are experienced in Crestron world only. If they were working in another company they would be at the same level as you. 90% of the people who leave there do so because they are tired of the games or burned out from the abundant negativity. But, the company makes $ so why change? Just keep the machine running and bring in some new blood.

"Boiler Room" meets "The FIRM"

Pros

Pay was good. Crestron is a leader in the field but saw strong trends Crestron was falling behind before covid and then accelerate that with Covid, WFH and hybrid work model. There are some great team members to work with.

Cons

The former CEO was a total Narcissistic. Surrounded by Yes-Men management. Area VPs would scream and threaten to fire 1/2 the team on a weekly basis if numbers were not met, this was in the middle of Covid. No surprise 60% of the team was gone after 8 months. Boiler Room environment with work expectations and pipeline growth and rumors were CEO monitored keystrokes, new product training, Teams calls, etc. I felt like every minute of every day someone was spying over me virtually. The turnover was exceptional. This was a common saying by Crestron employees: "Six months is a Crestron year for employment" That says it all.
