Upper management is a joke. There is no direction, no global policies, a severe lack of communication between departments. Decisions are made without forming a proper business strategy.
At times, Crestron feels like a bunch of groups trying to get ahead of each other rather than operating for the good of the company and each other. Most senior positions are held by people who are related to ownership or whose entire family work there, and everyone else fights over the few spots left.
If you're not a software engineer, don't expect to make anything close to market value. Benefits are sub-par and PTO policy is inadequate. They choose to be fined for being open during state of emergencies rather than keep their employees safe. Sure, they tell you "if you don't feel safe, stay home" but then you're marked as absent and don't get paid.
Future is uncertain with the retirement of the founder/President who drove most of the company's innovation and as tech giants like Google make a push into the market.
