Pros

The staff, who work and deliver care to clients in need, are amazing. The management however, is not. Supervision towards licensure is provided.

Cons

Management is completely alienated from the work we provide, the job we do, or how to effectively do it. Management is not receptive to, and even shuts down feedback given from staff towards improvement. Salary and benefits are significantly less compared to competitors in the area. Productivity expectations are unreasonable, and the agency blames staff when productivity is low. Caseloads are also unbearable. If you work here you will have a caseload of well over a hundred individuals.

Mission minded organization that puts time into developing staff

Pros

Colleagues and leadership are mission minded and value trauma informed care for our clients. Many growth and development opportunities if you want them. There are diverse programs and good collaboration within teams and between different programs. This organization puts time and energy into supervising, developing and supporting their staff.

Cons

Like any Community Mental Health organization, they are at the mercy of funding constraints which impact salaries.
