Pros

Job Security, solid management, fast paced environments, autonomy, opportunity for growth, opportunity to relocate to desired locations, company growth. Financially the company performs well so the pressure to perform is cyclical instead of 24/7.

Cons

Upper level managment (corporate) too focused on financials and not enough on service delivery. Crothall is very large and it becomes easy to "get lost" in the size of the company as an employee. I would much rather work for a smaller company but I would lose the opportunities that come with a company like Crothall.

Crothall Healthcare will give you ample opportunities to learn, grow as a manager and quickly advance in your career. You will get an insight into a corporate world inner workings. Since Crothall is a part of a huge Compass Group you will have almost endless opportunities for promotions or working in different aspects of support services. You can get to a next level as soon as 8-12 months into your career.

Cons

Operations Manager is an entry level position. In my opinion it is geared towards new graduates. Prepare to be overwhelmed, overworked, overstressed and underpaid. 10 hours is your required daily minimum but in reality you will work more. Amount of paperwork you have to produce and log into system is insane. You will always have to compromise between making sure all the assignments are being done and digging your way out of the mountain of papers.
