Pros

Employee deveopment which includes external and internal offerings, amazing health care benefits, long term company durability, ability to be relocated if desired.

Cons

Incosistent treatment of employees; depends on who you know. The work location is getting dangerous. Lack of work life balance because of work volumes.

Crowley has a good benefits package

Working in Crowley IT is way more stressful than it needs to be. The IT department is woefully understaffed, resulting in quick burnout and lots of things not getting done. IT management desperately wants respect from business stakeholders, but with the current structure and management style, it's not going to happen. technology upgrades take way to long, and Crowley has come up with its own implementation methodology that is just, well, a joke. Processes are defined and never followed, and management backpedals at their convenience, creating further confusion. Furthermore, people get thrown under buses all too frequently, and management tends to point out what you're doing wrong more than what you're doing right.
