      Pros

      Benefits were great when I started but dwindled over the years The department i worked in was great for years. It operated as a team.

      Cons

      outsourced a large part of IT department and IT operations became more fragmented and muddled .

      Pros

      Travel- Many diverse people- Good opportunity to start your career with. Dont stay too retire with.

      Cons

      Pay- well below national index. Family life is not truly valued any longer in Crowley. There used to be many benefits for the Employees and their families. Now all efforts go into hiring kids without families, and donating all money and employees "Volunteer" to charities for tax write offs. The "Family" of Crowley died with Tom Senior.

      Pros

      Not many these days. Crowley was a great company to work for. Paychecks have never bounced. Promotions are readily available because of attrition and hemorrhage of qualified employees. Newer equipment but still behind the competition. Training program is good.

      Cons

      Crowley can not seem to attract and keep enough qualified employees. The seem to be able to find enough warm bodies to keep in operation, but the overall safety is suffering.
