Pros

Ellation has the strongest leadership team of any company I have ever worked for. The executive staff demonstrates the values of integrity, accountability, communication, and transparency - and has a clear vision and strategy for the future. The product team is so creative and imaginative that it's fun to build what they conceive. The development teams are true innovators, doing things that have never been done before! These are exciting times to work for Ellation!!! I've been fortunate to witness this company's transformation from a relatively small start-up into a force to be reckoned with. We got here through good, old-fashioned hard work (which I am a fan of). Through all of the hard work and tough choices, we never lost sight of our goals. Now, this is the happiest, healthiest environment I have had the pleasure of working in.

Cons

To maximize the agility and effectiveness of all teams, Ellation prefers co-location over remote working. The downside of co-location is that one must commute to and from San Francisco daily. However, Ellation is well aware of this, and to alleviate some of the burden the company offers employees a generous commuter benefit which pays for most if not all of the commute.

Pros

Great culture, lots of smart creative people, fun events. Really cool products with a huge following. Dog friendly. Very cool new office space on the 7th floor of the Westfield mall. Very open to honest feedback. Lunch and dinner catered 4 days a week.

Cons

Some growing pains. Lacking key technology positions. Benefits are not very competitive. Some folks worn down from too many course changes and emergencies.
