Pros

- Hires a lot of the right people and builds great teams - A strong company culture that is growing and bringing more people into it - A proven business model that is only getting stronger - Takes care of it's people with no real hierarchal issues to speak of

Cons

- Could use some more clear processes to help new employees navigate better. The fast growth of the company (which is great) is part of the reason for this need.

Trailblazing company trying to leverage an established brand / community and transform it into an even more successful media / tech organization. Experienced executive team. Average perks. The environment is pretty ideal for anyone passionate about fandom, gaming, anime, tech, animation, Marvel, DC, GoT, etc.

Cons

Compensation is slightly below market rate. There can sometimes be some friction between the business and technology side but I suppose that's fairly typical in an organization incurring significant change.

Ellation employees have great opportunity to make an impact, take on new opportunities and drive change. The company is a great mix of new start up vs. successful growing mid-size company... also a good mix of media vs. tech company. This is an exciting time to work in the SVOD/OTT space and Ellation is building innovative video products that are uniquely positioned for success and stand out from competitors. With a strong business model and strategy going forward, Ellation is a great place to invest in something exciting and build something great.

Cons

Culture is not cohesive, but improving... Part of the nature of starting as just Crunchyroll and receiving investment and growing into Ellation.
