consistent job openings due to high turnover If you have an easy quota you can go to Mexico to watch management get obliterated drunk, fight, cuss, p themselves, use racial slurs and totally embarrass themselves. If your dad is a DVP or regional you will always have a good job, even if you are a bad employee.
Cons
Price increases on customers Commission decreases on reps No training Egotistical/ maniacal management Greedy executives who sold to a private equity for a big personal payday and now the company is on the hook for the loan payments. Toxic environment with a caste system dynamic of greedy executives in the ivory tower, middle management (product managers, regionals, BM's) scared of executives so they are constantly chasing their tail trying to please, and reps who get crapped on daily by everyone above.
