Pros

They try and pay you to put up with company shortfalls, but eventually everyone figures out its not worth it.

Cons

This management team is terrible. They treat their Customers and Employees like dirt. You cant continue to bleed your employees until they quit in frustration. Its the opposite of top grading, as they are more often replaced with the next warm body. As far as the customers go, HCC continues to meet margin and growth goals by increasing prices, a proven recipe for failure. This is the reason the current HCC leadership group drove SK into a hostile take over and eventual bankruptcy.

Pros

Great pay. Decent benefits. You aren't locked in an office or cubicle all day. Promotion opportunities company wide.

Cons

ATTN BRANCH MANAGERS, THIS IS NOT YOUR COMPANY!!! Stop saying that you have a "company to run", because you only manage a small territory in the grand scheme of things. The company doesn't have your name on the side of the trucks, so therefore you dont get to set the standard of performance. The company has standards in place for a reason, and that reason is NOT for you to change them because you "hold your guys to a higher standard". Don't micro manage all the time. There is a huge difference in keeping someone accountable, and micro managing. Apparently, some dont understand this difference. When you have a trainer in your branch, and you tell them that the program will work differently here than it does in any other location, guess who is in the wrong... You will lose your best talent with that approach. A non compete will not keep people in fear for long. Your branch will ultimately fail with that mentality.
