      Interesting and meaningful work. Some freedom to make sound technical decisions as long a properly researched.

      Cons

      Management makes decisions based on short-term profit goals. Emphasis on using offshore work force with questionable skills and then not providing proper time or personnel to manage/train them.

      The teammates are very helpful.

      Cubic is owned by Private Equity, and they have been employing a lot of cost cutting such as multiple rounds of layoffs, removing benefits like the $850 annual Lifestyle spending account, no more free EV charging (due to selling the property and doing a leaseback, so the new owners now charge employees for EV charging), and getting rid of the 9/80 schedule. They are also planning on implementing staggered shifts so instead of employees coming in to the office 8a-5p, different employees would come in at different times of the day.
