How to read the Glassdoor reviews - look at how many times they have been clicked as "helpful". By and large the helpful ones are true. Ignore the reviews at the top of the page, because Cubic HR shills posted false info and paid Glassdoor to move them to the top. By and large the 5 star reviews that have not been upvoted are fake. The real average is down below 3 stars, maybe around 2. Veritas is squeezing the life out out the company. Salaries have dropped below the industry norm. Raises are pathetic. They are shedding all the engineers in the US through attrition (no new hires in spite of a nearly 20% attrition rate). I am working 15 hours a day trying to keep my projects together (which says something worrisome about me).

Mid level management would change on almost a yearly basis causing project I was on to go nowhere fast. Lots of short sighted decisions and apathy from the upper ranks. Pay not appropriate for the area. Reduced employee compensation while having record quarters. Fear of retribution from upper management for not paying lip service to their propaganda. Code base had huge tech debt. Everything we touched was outdated.
