Pros

Culver's is a family owned franchise business. The company provides training and support that enhances the people that work there. Fair, honest and fun to work for.

Cons

Once in a leadership position it may be hard to advance. Compensation is top heavy with people at the top being paid above scale while people in the mid and lower ranges can expect little in the way of compensation advance.

Pros

Great atmosphere and stress on employee well-being. Corporate office visited several times annually to check the work environment with random employees. Promote-from-within philosophy

Cons

Typical fast food hours made for some spoiled weekends that I didn't want to be at work, but I think that is difficult to classify as a 'Con' for a high school job.

Pros

I learned basic customer service skills. Great shifts, and offered breaks for every 6 hours of work. Half off meals before and after shifts.

Cons

It gets somewhat repetitive sitting behind a cash register. It's a chain restaurant so very specific standards. We have to wear ties everyday and it was a fast food place
