Pros
-The pay is nice! Been here 3 years and new hires get the same pay rate I have, 17.50. I heard other losers at other dispensaries get paid 19. Bet they wish they had pet insurance! -Tips are put on paychecks and taxed. Losers at other dispensaries take their tips home at EOD and don't support our tax revenue! -Training and development programs are sourced from LinkedIn e-learnings. They certainly don't hold weight for payraises or career development opportunities but the certificate has the company logo and it is downloadable! :) -Internal Job Boards and internal hiring pracrices automatically submit you into this fun game where you don't hear back about scheduling an interview. Sometimes you learn that the job posting hasnt been taken down due to mass company layoffs. -New locations still being opened in states the company didn't pull completely out of.
Cons
-Lots of diversity in most visible roles! This totally misrepresents our the ethnically montonos leaders that populate most of the roles in places from the retail space to manufacturing and the corporate offices. -Wish they were transparent about how easy it is to get an executive leadership role especially with little to no industry knowledge, so long as you come from somewhere like H&R Block and have been there for some time. -Misalignment to their Core Values and their demonstrated commitment to DEI has been ghastly.
