Pros

Great co-workers, challenging and benefits, work flexibility.

Cons

You can't help but be suspicious that you're training your replacement since the India office was opened. It would be one thing if you didn't fit the role but the reality is US employees simply cost too much. We should all work together for the students we support but at the end of the day it's about the profits. The resentment is starting to build and relationships are starting to sour.

Stressful and not the same company it used to be

Pros

Great benefits and decent pay. Can still work from home mostly, which is great, though I'm betting that will change in the future.

Cons

I don't even know where to start. This is not the same company I was hired into many years ago. I've actually developed stress-related health issues this past year from work. -Little to no employee growth opportunity. -Many jobs slowly being outsourced to India. Lot of US employees scared of being laid off or replaced. -The only thing that matters anymore is the bottom line so that our private equity investors see a return for their investment. -Being a non-exec manager here is an incredible amount of stress. Not nearly enough support from execs. If you ask for help you can be labeled as negative or a problem. -Very few teams hold or take accountability. Lot of blaming other teams. Sales team is especially demoralizing to work with. -Lot of changes and absolutely atrocious change management.

Company doesn’t know what it wants

Pros

Salary, wfh, flexible PTO and you get benefits

Cons

They play favoritism, laid off a bunch of people. Company doesn’t know what they want. Make you feel bad for using PTO. Benefits aren’t great.
