Pros

Truly inclusive workplace bolstered by inclusive policies. Teams really work together to innovate and listen to each other. Everyone is a caring teamplayer. UXR is thorough and we really consider users' needs. Leadership continues to stand by the mission and every decision is weighed with care. Even though it is a large company, the way all projects are handled feels more like smaller studios. We are constantly adjusting the way we work to improve staff's experience--not just efficiency. Management really listens and surveys are considered. CA stands by its values--diversity and inclusion are important and we see the positive outcomes of this in all teams.

Cons

Projects can move slowly --for some people's tastes. Coming from the AEC industry, I was used to an even slower pace of project completion, so it is not really a con for me--but it can be for some people coming from other tech or front end design companies. There is room for improvment on pushing design vision more coherently and driving projects more through product design, but that is why our team is still growing.

Pros

-Supportive management. -CA is always looking for ways to improve. -Numerous opportunities for collaboration on projects. -Numerous opportunities to lead initiatives and co-facilitate meetings. -Managers and departments facilitating employee learning always ask for feedback and actively try to implement actionable next steps.

Cons

-This comes with the role, so it is not necessarily a major con, but certain periods during the year require more time to support educators. -Being remote has its positives, but I sometimes miss the social interaction of working in person. CA has "social hubs," but it's up to the hub to foster activity and engagement among those who join it. I want more engagement in my city/region and at the Brooklyn, CA office, as it tends to be empty when I visit. -I'd like more transparency around compensation. However, I will say that I have noticed some small positive changes around this.

Pros

- Company Values: I genuinely align with the company's values, which makes my work feel purposeful and fulfilling; - Growth Opportunities: There are ample opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges within the company, making it an excellent place for long-term career development; - Collaborative Coworkers: I really enjoy working with my teammates—they’re supportive and make collaboration feel easy and enjoyable. - Co-op program: A strong co-op program that gives college students and recent grads practical experience, helping them kickstart their careers. Many co-ops are later offered full-time roles, which shows the company values growing talent from within. - Remote Work: The flexibility of being 100% remote is a huge advantage, especially in today’s market where remote options are becoming rarer;

Cons

This is the best company I've ever worked for, so I honestly don't have any complaints.
