Pros

CA gets a lot right. Leadership is thoughtful and present, collaboration is genuine, and people actually enjoy working together. The work is well organized, the workload is reasonable, and the flexibility makes it easier to do focused, meaningful work without constant stress. Overall, it’s a smart, supportive place to work with people who care about doing things well.

Cons

I do wish there were more opportunities for full-time roles, because it’s the kind of environment worth staying in long-term.

Pros

Curriculum Associates offers a collaborative environment where teams generally support one another, and the company emphasizes educational impact in its mission. Many employees appreciate the stability, clearly defined processes, and access to professional development resources. The organization tends to invest in tools and training that help staff succeed, which can make day-to-day work feel structured and purposeful. Overall, employees who enjoy organized workflows and mission-driven work may find the culture rewarding.

Cons

Some employees may feel that the structured environment can limit flexibility or creativity, and the pace of change can sometimes feel slower compared to more agile companies. Communication across departments can be uneven at times, which may create occasional bottlenecks or duplicated efforts. While not inherently negative, those who prefer a faster, more dynamic work style might find the processes a bit rigid.
