Pros

The pay is higher than average and there are opportunities of raising it through doing training. If you work gard there are opportunities to get freebies or even in some training session. In my branch the people are friendly and its really nice working there because you dont feel too pressured so you enjoy working there

Cons

You have sales target, although I guess that is for every shop. The computers we use and tills are veeery slow

Pros

The team at Currys were extremely friendly and had a real community feel to the workplace. Furthermore, lots of wisdom could be tapped from other employees, not just on product details and sales techniques but also on customer relations. Overall, a lovely team and great experience.

Cons

The compulsory training could be more engaging. Currently it is informative and does the job but it isn't an interesting or exciting experience. Also, the pressure placed on employees with targets can be slightly overwhelming at times.

Pros

Good staff, positive environment, good pay, decent benefits, good training. The bonus is good, varys on how long the quarter is. Good working hours.

Cons

Very little acknowledgement for support staff (warehouse/knowhow/customer service) in comparison to sales collegues. Reviews focus more on a business mindset, and don't really focus on an individual, just what you're worth to the company is.
