      Misleading/Dishonest

      Pros

      I got paid well but only because I was grandfathered into a pay structure that was immediately closed after I achieved max pay in my role. I also loved my coworkers, we had a tight knit community and we all got along pretty well, I will miss working with them.

      Cons

      They lied to us about the financial health of our company. Multiple emails from Marc Katz about how our jobs were in a safe place, there wouldn't be any layoffs, and we didn't need to worry despite the recession. Two weeks after that last email, we were all layed off in the Reno and Charlottesville production facilities. Definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth.

The Reno and Charlottesville production facility closures were a difficult decision, prompted by increasing production costs and tight labor markets caused by the pandemic, but we tried to support impacted Inkers with generous severance packages and extended benefits periods.       Pros

      Company leaders are very honest and transparent--they lay out our company's goals, performance and headwinds in a very clear and concise manner. The encourage us to be honest in our feedback and expect us to receive feedback in kind. I've never (in all my years) been afraid to speak up and offer my opinion/feedback on anything.

      Cons

      This is a company, for profit. Company's don't do everything YOU want them to do and that's OK. Some times they decide to go in a direction that folks don't like and I understand that as well. Ultimately this is a growing company--has been as long as I've been here--and there are a lot of growing pains that come with that.

      Free snacks and a good amount of days off

      Cons

      Awful management, different rules for different people, didn’t care about employees at all. Managers would gossip about inkers personal lives to other employees. One of my managers told me about an inkers dad dying in disturbing detail and it made me really uncomfortable
