      Pros

      Cvent is growing very quickly and there's tons of opportunity, they like to promote internally. The people are really fun most have a pretty good work ethic.

      Cons

      It's a grind! The hours are way too long plus you have to commute. They also don't pay very well...

      Pros

      work satisfaction, flexible timings and exposure to work in international team on latest technologies on daily basis. The company culture is great! Many opportunities to be promoted within and recognized for your hard work and achievements. The founders are very smart, and you can learn a lot about what it takes to become a true Entrepreneur.

      Cons

      you would not want to move out once you become a part of the culture.

      Pros

      The best thing for me is that Cvent is expanding its tech stack. We are developing horizontally scalable architectures so I'm getting to work with a lot of new technologies like noSQL datastores and writing new SOAs. The development process is all Agile -- some sprints and some Kanban. The company is tech agnostic which I like so there is C#, Java (Linux), iOS and Android, and platforms like Redis, DataStax (Cassandra/SOLR), and Couchbase along with SQLServer. This is a mature company but it feels like a startup (tech management come from startups) without all the risk.

      Cons

      I've been here one year and still liking it a lot.
