Pros

None, this place is a flaming ball of garbage, stay away. But if you're truly desperate then give this a shot, they are doing anything to get new employees and retain employees.

Cons

The new CEO asked the employees to write positive reviews on Glassdoor, so here goes, I'm positive this new CEO came in to gut the company and force the ex-CEO out. The new CEO changed strategies and laid off everyone dedicated to the old strategy, then he changed strategy again, then changed it back to basically a version of the original strategy. This used to be a great place to work with very talented people, he's laid off many critical people, and the last few gems left all left soon after the lay-off. The new CEO doesn't seem to have the expertise to lead the organization, he really lucked out by having his last company purchased by Facebook. There are way too many exec management employees, it's laughable. The company is almost 30% big paycheck execs from Amazon & Microsoft and other companies.

Pros

-> Friendly people working collaboratively, in cross-functional teams and across the technology stack, to get things done. -> Caring Admin and HR staff in Seattle. -> A company that values people of all experience levels, where every employee can make a significant impact on the company and the product! -> A place where new ideas and suggestions are welcome and valued! -> Nice work environment, new equipment, catered lunches on Fridays, monthly Happy Hours, complimentary snacks and beverages.

Cons

->Company is rebuilding after a reorg, which may have hurt employee confidence resulting in increased turnover rates. However, they seem to be on the right track now!

Pros

- The vision and leading edge work makes Cyanogen compelling place to work. The modular OS program will now allow value, independence and intelligence to flow freely through the ecosystem. - Steep learning curve - Open and transparent culture brought it by new CEO and management - Lots of responsibilities...as much as you can handle - Work-Life balance is great - Employee friendly workplace culture

Cons

Cyanogen has grown and evolved. It may have seemed like the mission / direction of the company was confusing for a few months earlier in the year...but change and evolution are a natural part of a startup and many cynics with negative views have had to move on.
