Pros

- Clear and inspiring vision: empower people to do more and keep OS ecosystem open - Capable and hard working people - Lots of career growth opportunities as the company evolves and expands. If you are hungry to learn and eager to do a bunch of different things, this is the place to be - Culture is changing with new CEO who brought more openness and transparency. People are encouraged to have autonomy and bring their new ideas to the table - True startup experience. Things move fast. We build, learn, measure and iterate with fast cycles. People who are dynamic, self-starter and quick to adjust will enjoy this environment

Cons

A lot of negative press around the company and its culture. Most of the rumors are not true but it's affecting recruitment and attracting talents. Before I joined I also read reviews on Glassdoor and other websites which made me have doubts. However, the reality is that the leadership put a lot of emphasis on culture throughout the organization. And if you ever visit the office you will see the dynamic and energetic vibe which is far different from some of the comments you read online.

Pros

Cyanogen has a talented engineering team a great new strategy for growth. The company combines the opportunities of a startup with the leadership of industry veterans. It is also backed by both Tier 1 Venture Capital firms and important strategic players, showing both the possible financial upside and the support of the tech community. The new CEO has embraced what has worked in the past while pushing the company in a more sustainable direction.

Cons

The company strategy has shifted significantly, which naturally creates some challenges. However, it is clear already that the new strategy is a better long-term path, and that the new management team has the company pointed in the right direction.
