Spanish is very low paid compared to all of the other languages there. Spanish interpreters also have back to back calls all day while I've seen another language interpreter take only 5 calls during his entire shift. If your are a woman, Not enough bathrooms, you will spend half your break just walking to the other side to find those other bathrooms "close for maintenance" Very stressful job. You interpret for 2500 clients which include medical, financial institutions, court, emergency response teams, insurance companies, hotels, so on. When interpreting, you don't always have an excellent connection, or you neighbors are louder then the doctor who has you on speaker.
