Pros

Clean working environment, clean break room and clean rest rooms. People are ok to work with. Very close to my home.

Cons

The pay rate is not enough to sustain yourself in New York City. And it's not matched to our working difficulties. If you're a minor language, you probably won't get many calls and enjoy throughout the day. But if you're applied to be a Spanish, Mandarin/Cantonese, Russian interpreter, then god bless you... you'll be getting in-coming calls like a working horse during your shift. More and more good people are leaving due to this reason. The company has bad management in the payroll, schedules and technical support. They mess up payroll and schedule frequently. The phone and agent consel system are frequently getting errors. They created stupid protocols for every calls and make you very tired by the end of the day. You have very low chance to get promoted, think about the fact that the New York call center only has less than 100 interpreters, plus more and more interpreters are leaving because they really hate taking non-stop calls everyday from morning to the evening.
