Six month before they put me on PIP, I was a high performer. They gave me a great performance review. They gave me a rating of 100/100. And one month before our performance review, HR changes the career ladder and bumped us all one level up.
It wasn't a promotion. And six months later on the PIP, it said I'm not performing to the level that I'm supposed to be performing. I wasn't getting promoted. The HR changed my job title. I hope this comes back and bites you back!

If the career ladder was just an adjustment to industry practice and for an entire year someone works in the company and gets a glorified 100/100 review, how does one's manager put them on PIP six months later? Make up your mind up. I am not a child for you to tell me, the 100 on my performance review was just "ENCOURAGEMENT". I am a 30 year old adult (not a child) for you to be giving me a 100 on my performance review for AN ENTIRE YEAR's WORK!

Technically, I should've sued this company. I really hope Robert Blume reads this. Don't be shady and pretentious to people who work hard and are struggling to make it in already hard industry.
