Good benefits, a lot of future work

Cons

Unrealistic work load and demands. Extreme high house to Superintendent ratio, hard to turn a true quality home. Methods to approve contractor pay and scheduling is extensive and time consuming. Local main office is disconnected from the field. They hear your issues but is hard to get things corrected. Local and Corporate management is numbers on paper ONLY, the field has to make it work. Contractors are low balled and expected to produce custom results. High contractor turn over. Low quality Contractors contracted.

D.R. Horton is the #1 home builder, which means job stability. They also offer great health benefits. Location is ideal for those that live near by.

Cons

No employee morale, no training, no incentive, poor management, lack of communication, high turnover, no growth potential, employees take on several positions because the company don't want to hire extra help. Everything is priority, not organized.

Insurance, really can't think of anything else...

Cons

Making your sales quota...no family time...never a weekend off and very few holidays recognized.... Knee Jerk Management...Over priced homes...Hugh turn over...Maybe another state for employment since they are a large outfit...but Bham market sucks...
