Great Company to Work for
Pros
Competitive compensation, Achievable quotas, reasonable expectations. I was hired for a new sales role, and the procedures of my role had recently been changed considerably, meaning that neither I nor anyone else had a good idea as to what expectations should be set surrounding my performance. This is an incredibly precarious position to be in as a sales rep, but management has been incredibly responsible and fair in determining compensation and expectations, and has consulted me, to gauge my opinion regarding my own performance. The company is also small enough that if there is something internally causing friction, my manager can email the manager of another department and sort everything out pretty quickly. Work processes can be changed to make them more efficient, which is a radical change for me, having come from another job where there were dozens of layers of bureaucracy and middle management who all needed to be consulted to make any sort of change.
Cons
Because of the size of the company, sometimes things slip through the cracks. A certain policy changed, and I spent a month or two doing it the old way, because my manager had planned to tell me at a meeting that got cancelled, but I wasn't disciplined for it, or anything like that, I just felt bad about doing it the wrong way.
