DATIS does a great job and doing what it can to invest in culture. Unlimited PTO, free beer & coffee, and a relaxed dress code were my favorite perks. Unfortunately, there is a sense that company moral is still relatively low. It seems many employees are either thinking about leaving or actively looking for new opportunities. Many of the employees that joined after me also left before me, some lasting only a month, which definitely highlights a problem in the recruiting department. Key employees were either fired or quit, which disrupted culture and morale significantly.
Small companies like DATIS are usually a hotbed for office drama and chatter. Employees bashing employees and employees bashing management made for an uncomfortable environment at times.
Lastly, there seems to be a lack of innovation among the company. Throughout my tenure there was constant talk of change and how we were finally on the right track, but the change was almost unnoticeable. Even after new hires were brought on to shake things up, after a couple weeks the same old problems would arise.
