Pros

- 70% discount - Interesting and ambitious coworkers - Busy and never bored

Cons

Where to begin... I, like you, looked at these reviews and decided to give this company the benefit of the doubt . I was eager and ready to face the world... Was it ever a slap in the face. Do not make the same mistake and take these reviews with a grain of salt. This place is a sinking ship with no real management and a frightening lack of organisation... I've witness some extremely questionable behavior from "superiors" even though this company will pride itself with not having a hierarchy system. These people in positions of power have bully type attitudes and it's quite concerning. No one will take the time to evaluate your growth, there's no real training, it's quite fast paced and a very "learn as you go" type culture. This can be beneficial in terms of skills development, but in a company like this, it's only a disaster waiting to happen as the margin and the tolerance for errors is quite small for new employees. The turnover rate is extremely high. They fire and they hire as frequently as they launch a new product (ironic as they can't keep up with the demand and the production of the products they currently have.) For a start-up company I completely understand that there's a learning curve, however, they have daily opportunities to learn from these mistakes but make a conscious effort not to. On a more positive note, the people I did meet and befriend we're unbelievable! Knowledgeable, driven, eager... Just overall a rich crowd! The few interactions I had with the CEO were pleasant and he has the right intentions of making DECIEM's products affordable for consumers - if things do change this company has the potential to push all other high-end companies out of the ball park. Also, the products do work and they're great... Credit is to be given where it's due!

Pros

None worth mentioning at all.

Cons

Every single review on here that describes the atrocious actions of the CEO are true. And you will notice that as soon as the truth is written in a review which highlights the shocking behavior of the CEO 4 positive reviews are posted almost instantly. He is a bully and nothing more. He spend his day discriminating people of color, female employees and anyone he basically decides he does not like. He screams and belittle's employees on a daily basis. I have seen him completely break people down with his screaming and bullying. He expects employees to work long hours for little pay.

Pros

they hire anyone. 70% discount. decent pay for retail.

Cons

they hire ANYONE (their filtering system and interviewing process is not great which means they often hire people that are not skilled and that have poor characteristics). like the other reviews say, there is bias and favouritism within the management, they are often unprofessional and there is no objectivity when it comes to making decisions. there is no structure to anything and they often do things on a case by case basis which does not make sense eg firing someone for 1 reason but letting another person stay for the same reason. they do not listen to their staff members and any formal compliant you make WILL be ignored (or as they say "under investigation" and never resolved. also the CO-CEO does not believe in mental health issues, as an employer you should be understanding and emphatic to your employees but to not believe in a problem they have and to say you "dont see where theyre coming from " who would want to work for someone like that? staff are "promoted" to fake positions without an increase in pay or paperwork just because they want to staff to have more responsibilities and work but not be paid for it. many more things wrong with company .
