Many of the cons like benefits, time off, badge reporting, performance reviews, etc are widely covered in many of the reviews on here, just scroll through and you’ll find plenty of info on these archaic practices.
The biggest con is the culture, people are flat out miserable working here. There is a reason the turnover is so high and there are so few tenured employees. Widespread layoffs occur every few years. The “anonymous” employee engagement surveys are a joke, they come out quarterly with a survey link and specifically state to not share your “anonymous” link with anyone else. Management regularly bullies employees into high ratings on this survey.
What it comes down to is middle management is very fearful of executive management, which spreads down to the employees. Unrealistic expectations, employees are put to work on projects that have no chance of success due to poor planning and siloed business groups. Unbelievable amount of wasted time due to lack of communication. Many reviews mention all of the “opportunity” this company offers, this just isn’t true for the vast majority. There are certain groups and teams that are promoted and recognized frequently, generally these are fresh out of college employees who are willing to drink the kool aid, those getting to work on high profile projects out of pure luck, or simply favoritism.
