Pros

Great pay, great company, great benefits, occasional free lunches, great coworkers

Cons

Micro managed like crazy, managers tell you to do stuff that isn’t always best for the customer and you get in trouble if you don’t

Pros

Nice co-workers suffering beside you

Cons

This is the company where great salespeople go to die. The pressure is unbelievable, and the atmosphere is tension-filled. Metrics change constantly and keep you as a puppet on a string, trying to steer customers into the maze of entrapment in a dying industry. Leads are taking care of their paychecks, and agents are undervalued and super stressed. Little trite phrases are used to cover for the "DISH Way," which translates to the garbage-dump mentality of management toward agents. The turnover is so high, that one might think DISH would want to invest the money in actually listening to their agents and perhaps even knowing why so many customers are leaving, but apparently the money is better spent in some other way. There is no place to go, and any stories you hear to the contrary will be lies.
