Interesting work, given real work and cases from the outset, not just photocopying etc Client contact from early on Not too much pressure in terms of billable hours for juniors

Cons

Long hours Poor remuneration compared to other law firms requiring similar hours Often given work without a brief - sink or swim Partners not valuing CLE for juniors Office politics among partners

Pros

Most of the people are great to work with.

Cons

When the market dipped, it was hard to find hours as many associates and partners "hoarded" work.
