      Pros

      I work with a very talented group with great leadership. We work pretty seamlessly across several offices in the U.S. and even internationally. For the most part, everyone I've worked with, in any office, has been a really good colleague.

      Cons

      Sometimes you miss the face-to-face interactions if your case is staffed from all over the place. Also, the IT infrastructure -- while good compared to peer law firms -- still seems a few years behind the rest of the business world. Bonuses seem to trail peer firms.

      Pros

      Salary is reasonable. Nothing else is positive about working in the Dubai office of DLA Piper. Other offices might be a different experience.

      Cons

      Partners are arrogant and this has led to poor morale, employees do not feel valued, long hours working culture perpetuated by fear, job insecurity as so many staff have been terminated - even in the HR team itself!

      Lots of responsibility at an early stage. Great support. Friendly environment in most small offices.

      Cons

      If you are in a small office do not expect much of a role in the firm as a whole.
