Pros

Good resources for learning, many experienced people that are willing to talk and share. Possible to work for different offices around the country, which is great if your home office sucks.

Cons

The Midwest region is extremely conservative (think "bosses prefer women in the kitchen, like to order their staff to go out drinking" sort of attitudes). Was told "voluntary is mandatory" in regards to after-hours company events, which amounts to unpaid overtime (but who cares? The wife has the kids, right?). Company president at the time declared in a company-wide meeting that the majority opinion of employees did not inform management decisions regarding COVID and WFH policies.
