Pros

They served decent coffee, the bathrooms in the building were usually clean, and there were plenty of nice people working there.

Cons

* They are more interested in appearing to be good rather than actually doing good * design acumen of the organization as a whole is the actual definition of mediocrity *technology is used to seduce clients more than to move the design and profession forward, *worse, they appear to be quite proud of these aspects * As with most corporate firms, employees are asked to become 'part of the family' and sacrifice time and talents well beyond their salary, but the second the economy dips they're out on the streets.

Pros

People are friendly, and there’s enough backlog to go around

Cons

Be prepared to be scorned for advancing ideas. The general attitude seems to be to do enough not to be fired instead of trying excel and advance. There is no advancement, no reviews, no raises and no real way to move up or gain career advancement. They’re behind on technology, and unless you tow the company line you’re going to get ignored, passed over and dismissed. I want the last years of my life back. Management is pretty bad and they all read from a playbook that’s way out of date. This company suffers from a lack of leadership and direction. Consider yourself warned.

Pros

Large firm with multiple offices and multiple markets. Offers services for architects, engineers, marketing and business development professionals.

Cons

Don't have locations in many top tier and warmer cities. Lots of silos and layers between the different offices and markets. The firm is employee owned, which is good for becoming an owner but it limits its ability to innovate and move initiatives along quickly. There is alot of starting initiatives and not following through. Not much diversity in staff or leadership - especially not for minorities or women.
