      Excellent work culture, high level of intelligence across all departments, and great benefits.

      Cons

      Difficult to reach out to people due to flat organization, poor compensation, and disregard for any education beyond an undergrad degree.

      Pros

      The people and culture at DPR are great. It is a fun place to work and gives young individuals a good opportunity to have a lot of responsibility.

      Cons

      You are expected to work many hours and often weekends. It is a whatever it takes attitude. The whatever it takes attitude many times takes over your weekends and evenings.

      Pros

      DPR is a great place to work if you are willing to put in some effort. The training opportunities are endless and you are rewarded for doing more than the suggested amount. The culture is laid back and the management tend to stay off your case as long as you are producing positive results.

      Cons

      Be ready to work a lot of hours during crunch time in the field. Also, the Superintendents tend to be hard on the young engineers, so thick skin is also a plus. Be warned though, that the management may make empty promises at times, and blame is usually directed towards the younger Engineers.
