Pros
Weekly paycheck, vacation, that’s it. Nothing more with everything going on.
Cons
Too many to count. No cost of living raise (especially when I started years ago) You get told you’ll get a raise and end up still not getting it Job security on both lower and upper management isn’t safe No quarter bonuses since merging into one building. Overtime got cut, hours got cut. No one can tell if work will pick up or not, sales are low, companies leaving, making orders less Can’t even keep break rooms (fridge and microwaves clean due to complaints from cleaning crew) constantly changing shift’s making it hard for those who can only work a certain shift. That means employees quit. Dsv doesn’t pay good enough to stay. Cap at $18 an hour when they’re supposed to be matching competition salaries around us. If you don’t have cars to drive to work and your mode of transportation is damaged, they will not pay. They’ll make up an excuse to say why and it’s ridiculous. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been there. Employee survey was a joke. Even corporate bullies their employees. Company paid holidays since I’ve started became less. 1 floating holiday vs the 3 we used to get. Employees are so frustrated that they don’t care anymore. Having to do box duty while trying to make rate at same time because company won’t pay cleaning crew more (they come in after 10am anyway). More work for less pay. Favoritism to the max here. Constantly posting job bids with not enough staff (the job bids ends up being something else)
