Run. Don’t do this to yourself. It’s sad to see such a great company managed by clowns. Managers needs to be enrolled in a mandated course to teach them how to properly treat their employees. I’ve been screamed at, treated like garbage and harassed at work by upper management. They would hire anyone off the street with no experience and expect everything out of that person with minimum training. They never blame themselves for how the company/branch is performing and they are the real issue. They are in violation of so many state laws and simply do not care. If you even dare reaching out to HR for any type of support you will be retaliated against from management and then let go for “ attendance” or “job performance”. They want you to learn how to do tasks they simply cannot do themselves then claim all credit. They would put zero effort into training you and then LITERALLY yell/scream at you. They make mistakes worth thousands for dollars or quote very low/barely profitable then call meeting to waste everyone’s time about how we’re losing money and how employees should do better. GOD HELP YOU if you want to use YOUR OWN sick time. “are you actually sick?” “Why are you calling in sick?” “I need a doctors note proving you are actually sick otherwise you have to use vacation time”. They sent an employee for a doctors note after calling in sick that ended up costing the employee $5000 because they don’t have a primary care doctor and had to go to the ER. They refused another employees sick time usage for a doctors appointment stating “that’s not being sick so you have to use vacation or make up the hours”. They fired an employee on the spot for questioning management on their sick time usage. You CANNOT, absolutely CANNOT work from home regardless of how much they solicit it during your interview. You cannot call in and use sick time if your child is sick or let you work remote but they work remote whenever they want. My time as an employee of DSV has cost me my mental health and physical well being. I am currently on medication and still struggle with anxiety and depression. Management do whatever they want including using their own staff as babysitters while on the clock. They will use and abuse you and abuse their power constantly. I was actually scared of my managers and avoided contact with them at all times unless absolutely necessary. Don’t do it. Just don’t. The money aren’t worth it. If you actually end up taking a job with this company WRITE. EVERYTHING.DOWN. Names, dates, times the conversation/s took place. If you have a 1 on 1 with ANY manager - follow up on the conversation with an email. But you will hate it I promise you.
