      Company Strives to Do Better

      Pros

      The company and its people do really meaningful work for the industry. There are strong values and culture to do the right thing. The company provides many resources for employees to grow their careers. In my experience, employees want to work together to accomplish goals (it's not a cutthroat environment). Benefits are seemingly generous.

      Cons

      The culture seems to be frequently shifting, and while it's in a positive direction, it can be hard to keep up with. The workload can feel somewhat overwhelming at times.

      Pros

      The pay, benefits, etc. and excellent, but what differentiates DTCC from prior employers I've had in financial services and accounting firms is the collegial feeling and family atmosphere. For bright persons that are willing to go the extra mile there is no shortage of career opportunities and upward mobility. Opportunities to work remotely, and special accommodations where appropriate, are common at DTCC. Lastly, I find the senior management team to be very approachable, and practice an open door policy.

      Cons

      As a relatively small company (as compared to bulge bracket banks), the range of businesses and geographic penetration is more narrow.
