Good Company to work for with solid Reputation

Pros

Great people and flexible work schedules. Company actively promotes a good Continuous Improvement culture and is working to embed culturally which allows for innovation. Company has won many awards for both Customer Service and CI efforts. Benefits are very good and consistent or slightly better than most utilities.

Cons

As with any large company (and especially a older utility such as DTE), adapting to changes to technology, changing markets, and younger employees is difficult.

Great pay and co-workers, everyone was very supportive and committed to helping me become a productive member of the department.

Cons

Difficult to secure a full time position as an intern. Most positions are either filled internally or by over-qualified outside talent.
